It certainly looks like Chamomile - does it have a sweet smell when you rub the leaves? -
I put some chamomile in between crazy paving near the greenhouse, mines not flowered yet and I think it's 3 years old now.Comment

I love chamomile tea. If you imagine the scent of new-mown hay, that's what chamomile tastes like. And it's very relaxing. Yes it does have a sweet smell when crushed, but it becomes a slimy mess when hot water is added and then it smells of just hot, grassy water.
Not for me I’m afraid. Even if it is good for me!

I think that's what I've got flowering on the plot! I strimmed some off yesterday in my eagerness for it to look tidy, but there's loads of it left.
To make the tea, do you need to dry the leaves first? I'm gonna try it!

I think chamomile tea is made with the dried flowers rather than the leaves. Harvest them when they are open fully but any dew has dried off, spread them out some where airy, cool and out of the way of sunlight to dry.Originally posted by SarrissUK View PostI think that's what I've got flowering on the plot!
