Nice herb wheel Snadger. I love herbs, grow allsorts. Chives are lovely dotted around the edge got to agree, lemon balm is another favourite but can be invasive like mints (contain in those black florist buckets) Depends how many herbs you want to grow. Mine are all outside the kitchen door, probably planting space at moment is 6' deep by
15' long, but created a new herb bed 10' x 6' plus have lots in pots dotted about. Can offer you cuttings if you want, let me know.

I live in a flat with communal garden that has a gardener who comes and cuts grass etc. There is some spare ground and I'm toying with the idea of suggesting I plant a herb garden there. When would be the best time to start planting? I would start with plants rather than seeds as I'm very limited on space to have pots of seeds about.
