I grow loads of herbs but the two I use medicinally are Feverfew and Comfrey!

Feverfew leaves added to a cheese sarnie are supposed to be good for migranes and comfrey's common name is 'knitbone' and can be used in a poultice for aches and pains!

Peppermint is good for trapped wind and chewing dill/fennel seeds likewise, they also give a fresh taste in the mouth and are good for bad breath.

I don't know the English names for so many plants but you would be surprised how many of them (even plants considered as weeds)might be used in medicine.
A few examples of which I know:
                    Nettle-common weed-good for bladder infections,helps to clear the blood,good for"degreasing"hair and skin(fights with spots),also good for digestion
                    Camomile-antiseptic,good for sunburns
Horsetail-good in arthritis, strenghtens hair and nails
                    Echinacea-boosts the immune system
                    Calendula-antiseptic
Lime tree and raspberries-good for cold, especially for kids
                    And so on and on...

You might not realize how many medicinal herbs grow in your garden...

                          Hi,

melissa - herbal tea, soothes sore throats esp. with added honey
lavender - sleep remedies, moth repellant in closets
honeysuckle flowers - tea is good for asthma and chesty coughs
raspberry leaf - tea regulates women's cycles, aids and eases labour, but don't take in first two trimesters
golden hops - infuse as a sleep aid

                          Red x
