They are also looking a bit like they are folding inwards, I have it in the kitchen on the windowsill and the kitchen get really hot when cooking, should I move them elsewhere or maybe water them a bit more, I watered it once since buying last week.

The soil should be moist to touch. They will dry out indoors; it sounds like they need water.

Also, Basil doesn't like being watered from above, so put it on a saucer if it's not already on one and pour the water into that and let it get soaked up.There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

I find that I can't keep basil on the window ledge at this time of year as it gets too cold at night so I have to remember to move it each morning and evening.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Basil is watered nicely, not too wet, just moist. I moved it in to the dinning room because of the sun on the windowsill in the kitchen, the dinning room gets nice lighting but where it is it doesn't get direct light, the leaves are drooping and the greeness is turning crumbly as if it's dried out.Follow my garden and chilli growing project... @impatientgrower

I promise I will in the next few days...if we get a cold icy morning.
my mint however, which was wilting in the kitchen a week or so back, got thrown out on to the patio, and despite the ice is looking the best it has all year?Last edited by BrideXIII; 11-12-2008, 12:24 AM.Vive Le Revolution!!!'Lets just stick it in, and see what happens?'Cigarette FREE since 07-01-09
