I have used More Veg for seed, particularly for those vegetables that we like but not in vast quantities, such as fennel, squash. The seeds come in little clear plastic bags with cards identifying them and instructions for sowing. The order arrived within 48 hours and so would recommend if you don't want vast amounts of seeds that soemtimes come in the usual packets - they also seem to have some more interesting varieties than in the usual catalogues.

I've also got a catalogue from these people and they ahve some unusual varieties and heritage types too - couldn't believe the range of salad seeds they have - think it works out about £1 per seed packet and a minimum of five packets for free postage Rebekah's Veg

I've used moreveg, they are very good but my only gripe is they don't put the spacings on the seed packets.

I used moreveg two weeks ago. Ordered the seeds and they were with me within 48 hours. Very impressed. The seeds were packed well and had good instructions. Will definitely use them again.

Hi, got my seeds today, 2 days after I placed my order.
There was a hand written thank you note inside too, which I liked.
Very happy with the service, if they grow ok I will order from them again.

I think small firms, no matter what they are selling, generally give you a better service than multi-national conglomerates.

Just to let you know that I have planted some of my seeds today from moreveg. I have potted some peppers, tomatoes, leeks and some tarragon. I haven`t planted them all though, I just thought I`d give a few seeds a try. They are now on the windowsill in a heated propagator. I let you know how they go.
