I bought pots of Tarragon on two occasions last year and returned them to B&Q because they developed considerable rust a few days later.
In one case I had immediately pinched out a few cuttings which took well (I didn't feel guilty because I wasn't compensated for my time and petrol for returning the duff plants).
The cuttings didn't develop rust. Could it possibly because I kept them under plastic, although the front was kept open, and watered from underneath?
Am I right in thinking Tarragon is perennial (always assuming the cuttings haven't succumbed to frost)?
