  • What is this?

My MIL gave it to me, and she doesn't know either..I think it's maybe chervil?

And what would I do with it? If it's chervil - isn't that like posh parsley (I despise parsley)?

It's got the wrong type of flowers for chervil - sorry!
    Maybe Feverfew?

Much too tall and dark for feverfew, which is only a foot tall and bright limey-yellow foliage (with daisy like flowers)

leaves remind me of celery - but if they don't smell of anything - then I have absolutely no idea. Sorry.

Defo not chervil. Anjelica maybe. Celery like leaves. Are the stems hollow?

Ah, yes, that could be it. The flowers are looking rather daisy like.

Hmm, so it doesn't really belong in my herb garden now, does it? Hurrumph.

Flowers about to pop out now, so will take pics to see, but I think you're right Chris. Ta!

Are the flowers like this? I've got tons of this stuff - tbh I thought it was some sort of double-flowered feverfew

Well, it flowered today and tisn't a 'mum. I looked at the leaves of one up close in Morrisons yesterday and they aren't the same.

The flowers are about 1cm across..and look a bit like sweepster's pic. I'll try and get some close ups.

I think it does look like feverfew, I seem to have acquired a few different strains, and one definitely had darker leaves like this. (and others have lime yellow foliage like you said).

Ah, apparently it grows up to about 24 inches tall..which is about how tall it is. Doesn't have citrus smelling leaves though.

Oooh it's good for headaches..handy except it also apparently has antiplatelet actions which is a biiiig no no for me.
