  • Teeny tiny Oregano

I would like to grow some oregano as I love the taste, so I've bought the seeds which are really tiny. What's the best way to sow them please? Is it on damp compost and cover lightly or not at all?

You can sow them on damp compost and put a very light sprinkle of dry compost on top. Then put the tray/ pot in a freezer bag and clip it closed. Leave the bag unopened in a suitable place until it germinates. It will get on fine.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Don't go too crazy like I did - I ended up with BILLIONS. I had to rehome them on Freecycle. Still have loads.
