I'd start small spur cuttings in pots under glass at this time of year so they could go out next spring. If you can't manage that then just go for it. I always found Rosemary roots very easily.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

I would be inclined to get cuttings going in pots and wait until spring to get them in the ground, rooted cuttings will produce a strong plant than trying slips now when the ground is soon to be cold and wet.

I haven't tried it, but i think Rosemary is supposed to root easily in water.

I take cutting's from this years growth, I use a sandy mix that way it's well draining, I find if there too wet they'll rot, pop them round the edge water them well then I leave them alone, just give them a little water when they start to dry...works for me.
