Jilly, I can only just see the green shoots and I really mean "just" When I can see the shoots properly I'll get Mr Frosty to take a photo (Mr Frosty's camera and he gets anxious when I touch his cameras)

Looks great Bren, I'm keeping an eye on mine as the bottom leaf has turned brown. Unsure if it's under or over watering.

I read somewhere that they lap up a houseplant feed every now and again but I would still like to know how we get to enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Sorry to but in, as I'm not part of your ginger growing challenge, but I've never ever seen a piece of ginger with little green bumps on it. Have I just been unlucky?

I have planted some without green sprouting just placed the nodes up and something is definitely stirring under the compost

How's your bottom leaf? You were way ahead of me at the start so I wonder if I'm catching up?

It seems to have stood still. It's still in the shower room but hasn't grown. I was wondering if it was time maybe to give it some food. It's still about 12-14"

If it's that tall it's hardly standing still is it? This one is on a N facing windowsill over the radiator and has just released it's first pair of leaves.
