  • Ok to grow climbers in herb raised bed?

My hubs has made me a raised bed for herbs next to a trellis that I had a clematis and jasmine growing up on. I've dug up the jasmine and clematis to fill up the beds (they're 30cm high).

My question is, is it ok to put them back or would they be too much competition for the herbs? I'm planning on putting my mint, thyme, oregano, lemon balm, thai basil and parsley there. Maybe some bergamot to brighten things up (the bed's just over 5' x 2').

Thanks in advance for any comments.

dont know answer to the question, but make sure you keep mint in a pot - can sink the pot into ground if want - mint is very invasive and will take over all the other herbs.

I grow my many herbs as ornamentals in my flower beds. I have 8 clematis but never had a problem. Just remember that a raised bed is just like a large container so keep well watered.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
