Ok I planted some Genovese basil on Monday and they have sprouted this morning what is the next step that I take so I can have healty basil plants.
They are outside right now and its about 80F I take them in at night and then bring them outside at night once they get big enough what do I do do I separate each sprout into there own pot?

I have some pictures of them and the pots that they are in.

I think you may have got your temperature wrong if you are living in the UK.
You will need at least 12 basil seedlings to make a reasonably sized plant in the size pot you are showing.

Firstly, where are you with temperatures like that ?
You don't need to separate Basil, they quite like the company.
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

I live in New Jersey and we are having a heat front so its going to be around 73-80 all week ,and so once they get bigger should i all transplant them to the pot on the right the pot is pretty small?

How many did you sow in the smaller pot, rock? We buy pots about that big full of growing basil seedlings less than an inch apart. Because we don't live in New Joisey we keep them indoors on the kitchen windowsill!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I have no clue, but it was allot of seeds that I put inside of the two pots. So a basil plant isnt one plant its many different ones?

It can be used either way, Rock - we buy cutting herbs growing in pots and I'm sure you can too over there. But you can also grow single plants in the open ground, 6-8 inches apart. Depends on your preference. I found my open grown basil was more intense in flavour than the pots of supermarket raised stuff.

Well right now my only option is growing them in pots.
