I took 12 cuttings at the weekend, hope they take!

Rosemary's quite hardy (which is why it's one of my favourites!) in the past I've just left it in the ground to get on with it... water logging is the biggest threat, I think? Especially where that water then turns to ice... Last winter was just SO terrible up here some of our R plants didn't make it through so this year I have taken some cuttings that I am growing on in the green house... I am putting a couple of the smaller plants (ones I bought in the spring to replace the winter losses) in a cold frame - or up against a sheltered wall - just to be on the safe side...

        Good luck!

Would be great to grow a big bush from seed though...
I tried seeds this year... NO LUCK!!!

I did half a seed tray of seeds and ended up with 2 plants, then one plant from my 6 cuttings. They're all only 2 or 3 inches high so I'll over winter them in the greenhouse.

I have four little plants from seed, I had almost given up on them. I will winter them in the kitchen

Keep it away from the potatoes, but plant this herb near cabbage, carrots, beans, and sage.
