  • How often should I water small rosemary plant after heavy-duty repotting?

I have a small (roughly 15cm high) rosemary plant which I bought online. It arrived severely root/pot bound and also overwatered (the roots were not looking very healthy and I would not have been surprised if some of them had started to rot already...they looked quite brown and squishy).

The plant has now been repotted into suitable sandy and well draining soil, with the roots severely disected/untangled.

I read that after performing such a procedure on a plant, one should water it very often and abundantly. But what is the rule for a plant with possible root rot, especially one that doesn't particularly like much water anyway, like rosemary???

    Thanks!
