  • Overwatering oregano?

i've noticed some brown marks on some of the leaves, been watering it everyday approx 500ml is that too much? it gets the sun from roughly sunrise until about 4:30
(sorry for the blurryness on the second picture)

also am i supposed be trimming it back to make it bushier or is that just for small plants? (like my mint im not sure if im supposed to be trimming that regularly either ive just put it from its 3 inch pot up to a 6 inch pot)

Oregano is from a very dry area and doesn't like too much water, it really wouldn't hurt it if you didn't water it every day...you'll notice a more intense flavour if you don't water it as much. The brown spots could be where the water's been and the sun has burnt the plant.
Mint likes a good watering but don't like there feet in water for long periods of time, if you cut your mint back try putting the cut of pieces in a glass of water so they can root...instant new plants.

It looks like your oregano is growing in the ground - is that correct? You really can't do watering by so many mls per day - you have to look at the plants and then decide if they need water. If they are in the ground then give them a good soak and then leave for a week, that will encourage the roots to go down into the ground to find water. As for stuff in pots, then give it a good watering then feel the weight of the pot. That way you can judge by lifting the pot if it needs watering or not.

No way of telling which mint it is from a picture. Try picking a bit and smelling it. If it's something like lemon mint, apple mint etc, then it will smell of that.
