  • Does anybody actually have....

Lemon Mint? For years I have been looking in garden centres and nurseries but have never come across Lemon mint. I have lemon balm but was starting to think it doesn't exist. Any idea where I can get some from without paying three times the plant price for the postage?

    Cheers

I have some, but it's not very rampant. In fact, I'm struggling to keep it alive

I have some too but as TS says it's a bit shy for a mint. Smells nice though. Bought the plant from a Farmers' Market earlier this year and whilst I like it, I do like the punch of spearmint.

I have lime mint in a large pot if that helps. I don't know it if will ever seed though, if it does your more than welcome to have some Dave. Lemon mint seems to be big in America, it grows wild in there meadows. I have friends out there, so I'll see if I can get one of them to send me some seed. I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection of mints.

It came up in a recipe (probably American come to think about it) and I have been on the look out ever since. I found it in a herb list once but the postage was bonkers as I have already mentioned. Thanks for the replies and if the Lime mint does seed or needs splitting I'd love some Ginger. Cheers
