Jekka's sells it- my friend bought some at the open day last weekend. I'm trying to get a few cuttings to root at the moment... Where are you based?

By the way, I couldn't remember the name of it, as I only got the bit that broke off in the car with no label, so thanks! It's definitely that though.

Jekka's did have it at their open day as I saw it but it smelled funny - like cat wee wee, so I put it down again.

I would greatly appreciate the cutting from you. Could you PM me your address so that I could send the SAE please?

It grows wild in Spain. I've brought loads back home with me but it all seems to die back here.

this may be the same as the "barbados thyme" i've had on my window cill for about 15 years, grows like a weed with leaves about the size of your palm, but dies outside,we had one in the downstairs toilet window as an air freshener and its lovely with fish or pasta as its quite mild, will add photo and take requests for cuttings, roots in water or mpc in about a week.

Is in Jekka's herb garden - though you have to collect it

Am also looking for it - used for various medicinal purposes in Latin America - I am not on the mainland (Scottish island) so can't collect from Jekka's herb garden. If anyone finds a source of postable seeds or plants I'd be very grateful to know where/how!

A friend of mine grows a herb that looks like the picture on wikipedia, but hers has much smaller leaves than palm size, less than an inch I would say. None of the pictures on the internet I found had a scale bar. Is there more than one species in this genus?

I think you can't grow from seeds . You need cuttings. I maybe wrong . I'm not sure about it. .
