  • Borders or pots??

Ive just finished sowing all my herb seeds for the borders and pots but could do with some expert advice about what to plant where! (I know mint will run rampant through a herb bed, kinda like a leafy Godzilla)..
What else should I avoid planting straight in a border??
Ive got borrage, chamomile, chervil, cumin, fennel, lemon balm, greek oregano, basil, chives, coriander, parsley, thyme and rosemary on the go!!

i have bought borage seeds this year and FYI the packet says: "Autumn- dig them up! Do not compost the flower heads or let them run to seed- unless you want a borage forest!!!"
    You have been warned

I'd love a borage forest - bring it on!! I never use the flowers - but they are so pretty...

Lemon balm is a spreader like mint - but I love walking on it. Such a refreshing scent.

I sometimes have to strim through that where it insists on overhanging a lawn...Scent explosion!
