It being a bank hol and looking like rain all day - me and Mr Z decided to go to a rare plant fair today - and lo and behold there in the drizzle was a plant I'd been looking for seeds for for ages. Szechwan pepper.
We'd only taken £20 as we thought - in this weather, on day 2 of a plant fair - most of the decent stuff will have gone - but we got the above, a lovely Trifolium for ground cover and a Rice Paper plant. Chuffed to bits with our haul.
And, for the £3 entrance fee - we got to wander around the lovely Dorothy Clive garden in Staffs. What a beautiful garden.
Even in the rain it was a good day out.
