Borage plants...

My borage from last year has self-seeded and without thinking about it too much I dug up a lot of the seeds and "potted them on".

I now have several pots and tubs of 3-4cm high borage plants and absolutely no idea what to do with them! (I also have some in situ, too).

So, if anyone lives near Kings Langley (between Watford, Hemel Hempstead, and St Albans) and wants some borage, please message me and we can sort something out.....

Did they transplant OK? Because they've got a taproot I would've expected them to just wilt & die.

weird innit? Where I wanted it to grow, and sowed seeds - I have zilch growing.........but it's happily self seeded all over the allotment, but as said it doesn't transplant easily

Well, I dug 'em up when they had only just got their first real leaves - haven't looked at the roots since....

Might do that tomorrow when it stops monsooning!

Checked the borage plantlets today - no tap root. They still look like borage, and they came from the same place as the borage was last year.

Can you confirm they ARE borage?

Well that looks like what I am growing as borage, sowed them in trays,potted them on,popped them out and they are doing ok

CtC, we will just go with them being borage and ignore the fact they have no tap root and are happy being transplanted!!!

I had a wee look when I was at the plot (before my drama) and can see the wee blue flower heads forming, so yep will go along with them being borage
