I've tried drying herbs this year but while my marjoram seems to have done ok lying on a slatted shelf, the oregano that I hung up underneath it has dried oddly, with the leaves going black near where the stems were tied together. Doesn't really smell of much so I am assuming that I just don't keep the top darker leaves, is that correct?
I am really wanting to check that I cannot poison myself or anything though, as I am a bit scared of this with preserving.
