  • propagated tarragon...

    But not sure what to do. I've got loads of them! All looking strong. Should I really prick all out into individual pots lol. Not sure I have space! GF is already complaining house is getting taken over by plants lol.

    You need to stop sowing a whole pack of seeds

    Just prick out about twice the amount you think you'll need and put the rest on the compost. Or give them away.

      i always thought that you couldnt grow proper french tarragon from seed ...so this must be the russian type which is not as good for cooking? Would be interested in how it turns out .....do as rusty lady says but if you give it away make sure recipients know what type it is.

        That's true I did use whole packet lol.there all like 3-5 inches high lol. Guess it's a lesson learned.

        Anyone know any tarragon recipes lol

          Aye its Russian. Which is what I heard as well. Well potted out about 10, and kept the rest in try and put it out in my plastic greenhouse thing ... don't like throwing good plants away , will see how they all fair and keep potting out as time goes on. Could probably give away about 8

              You propagate French tarragon by dividing.
              Mine are struggling this year though.
