  • barbados/thick leaved thyme

I have a plant which I received as a cutting about 17ish years ago.smells very like thyme and is fantastic with fish or pasta,or anywhere else you use thyme,I assumed this was the same as broad leaved thyme but having seen pictures realise it's a totally different plant. The leaves are large and fleshy 2-3 mm thick vaguely nettle shaped and get to the size of my palm.this plant grows like a weed on the window sill and I tend to take a cutting every 6 months or so and just bung it in a pot of mpc.It will root in water ,my mum has one she never potted up and it's been in a milk bottle for about 6 years.I will be restarting from cuttings in the next week or so,if anyone wants a cutting pm me and i'll see what i can do
