    Okay, so not really herb
(mods feel free to move me)

I love celeriac leaves in cooking for that celery taste without going to the faff and trouble of growing the real thing. I want to store some for winter use but what would make me truly happy is to turn some into a kind of celerysalt for my Dec 25th breakfast bloody mary (some traditions are hard to beat )

I have a dehydrator ready to go, anyone know how best to go about this?

      Thank you sparrow!

and that is actually a really good site...seen lots of very useful bits and pieces on there so I've bookmarked it to peruse later.

I'm off now to fire up the dehydrator, thanks again!

Excellent! I've got a ton of celery that needs picking and using, so I'll definitely give that a go this weekend.

You're welcome. Thanks for the soggy soil advice. Nice place this.

Why not grow 'Chinese celery' which I think is the same as the sometimes advertised 'perpetual celery' or 'celery leaf'. This perennial form of celery goes on year after year and you can always pick handfuls of beautiful celery leaf for soups, stews or salads. I couldn't go without it.
