Basil looking sorry for itself

Anyone offer any advice as to why my basil is looking a bit worse for wear?
It was all fine and growing really well, then one morning i found it had been munched on by a slug!
That was a couple of weeks ago and it just seems to be looking worse and worse

Left it too late to get any proper pics. It has some weird stuff going on with a couple of leaves, and most are starting to turn yellow/white

Where is it ? I have mine in living room (random but steady temp) unlike GH at moment , these few weeks ago..

In the greenhouse, there is heater that comes on if it drops below 10c.
It was doing so well and just starting to get a decent size till it got slugged. Ever since it's just gone south...
I've 2 pots of oregano in there too that are doing nicely.

Yes slugs are picky . Do you have any plants you could put in like young lettuce for them to have instead

I did have some lettuce in there, but it's all been booted outside due to lack of space.
Just a few herbs and all my peppers and tomatoes now, TBH i'd rather the slugs had the basil then them!

I find basil spends more time looking sorry for itself than it does looking happy!

I tend to succession sow, but it could be worth re-potting it in some new compost? Usually gives them a bit of a boost

I dont think it would make much differnce, it's only about 4" high. Was sown onto plug trays about 1-2 months ago, then moved to a big pot a few weeks ago.
Really annoying as started out so well.

Might move it inside and see if it helps.

That's my experience with basil too. Mine tends to wither for no apparent reason whatsoever. Just because!

Mines definitely being the best yet and stable in my living rm (windowsill) west facing. I think because room is constant temp.

I've got basil in two places at the moment, one lot is indoors by a west facing windowsill, the other is in an unheated greenhouse. Indoor basil is doing much better.
