Excellent I'll check mine as well, I'm sure I've got more varieties than I've listed.
My mints are still appearing too. The bad news is - the labels aren't
So sorry, SP, I have nothing reliable to swap as I've never been able to tell basil mint from the other perfumey ones.
Glad your banana mint is alive and well
I "think" from now on, I'll keep a mother herb plant in a bucket with the name painted on it and only plant out its offspring in the garden as I seem to lose track of them when I let them roam.
Maybe I need a Herb Bucket garden...............wanders off, thinking................
I saw some "flavoured" mints on Tony Robinsons Coast to Coast programme recently when he met a commercial herb grower. I would love to know where I can get my hands on some. Especially the chocolate and pineapple ones.
You're on!! I'll see if I can find any labelled plants tomorrow and let you know what I have SP
Its only taken 15 months but I've found Basil mint's label!! I cut back some other stuff and there it was, in the middle of the mint. If you still want a cutting, SP, just ask.
I have Apple but any of the others would be great. I have a couple of other mints too but I'm not sure of their names. One I grew from a cutting given to me a lady on Skopelos - so I call it "Skopelos Mint". Original, no?? Its a perfumed mint - maybe Eau de cologne -ish.
I'll have another look for labels tomorrow.
