I would say you need to split it. Every year in late autumn I unpot my and replant 3/4 stolons in a big pot by the spring I have a pot full.Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet

Take a plant and pull it apart then take 3/4 of the big white roots and replant only those and bin the rest. It sounds drastic but it works. If you just split the plant and replant it you are planting a lot of old roots and they will only produce small leaves. If you now have three plants try it with one and you will see the difference. By the end of spring you will have a pot full of mint.Last edited by roitelet; 11-08-2017, 12:44 PM.Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration.
