The Herb Garden - month by month

I have to admit my herb garden is usually good intentions and not a lot else. Could do with a herby kick up the bum.

Anise Hyssop - sown
Sweet Cicely - sown

will do some nasturtium and sunflowers next week.

The thread title is also the title of a book that has lurked on my book shelf for years. I've flicked through it but never sat down and read it properly. However, its going to be my next little challenge and I hope some of you will join me.

I'm going to list the "Plants of the Month" and try to grow as many as possible (or at least one).

This month, March, the herbs to be grown from seed are:-

Anise Hyssop - Agastache foeniculum
Borage
Nasturtium
Sorrel
Vervain - verbena officinalis
Summer Savory
Sunflower
Sweet Cicely - Myrrhis odorata
Sweet Violet

Grown from cuttings :-
Pennyroyal - Mentha pulegium
Spearmint - Mentha spicata

I should be able to grow at least 5 of these herbs. How about you??
