  • German tarragon???

    Anyone heard of this?
i was given 3roots of this yesterday and was told it most definitely isn't French or Russian tarragon.
The guys told me that it's very difficult to find.
The only other variety I can find is Spanish/Mexican/winter tarragon....never even heard of that!.so....could this be a fairly new variety or what?????

It stands about 4-5 ft high...but so do my nettles this year!

Do I offer them my other leg to pull...or is there something called German Tarragon??

I strongly recommend Mexican Tarragon (aka Mexican Marigold - Tagetes Lucida).

What is it with me and obscure herbs?
