Lol! Good idea shirl and I bet momol's got a secret stash of special seeds too! (ps I do only mean veggies, I'm too old now for any other malarkey! )
LOL, don't think Madmax would be up for the risk of bringing anything else home!! He once had a very tricky passage through customs coz I had asked him to bring a particularly enjoyable pancake mixture (powder) from Sweden!!
Hmmm I don't mind to share you ladies some cutting but it is now dormant and mine is really tiny if you ladies give it a bit of time...no worries, will spread the berries if it make it this year . Last year was so close, it bloem with 8 flowers or so but it was rubbish summer, too cold...all flowers dropped ! finger cross for this year .
Thanks Momol, I was only joking though. Madmax was wondering about coming to visit you I think, he has some free time between blocks of shifts and is often looking for places to go when he is not coming home. He is working in Breda which I think is not so far from you?

Shirl,
The only time we pass the custome (UK) easily was by land (Ramsgate ?) at that time we got 2 big cheese ball for a friend and some dried food and seeds( hmmmm) and they didn't make a fuss about it but at that time was also a bit chaotic because another car has a live shell...what a lucky day .

LOL, when the car comes back from Holland in a few months, it will be full of Brand beer, Limburgse vlaii and chocomel!!! We have done it before many times and don't get a second glance!
Come to think of it - Madmax will be pretty full of those things too!!!

He didn't take the first job which is in Eindhovent or so ( for mobile or so, can't remember) ?
He is welcome to visit my DH will enjoy chatting with him ( both speak the same dialect too I presume)...
I am serious about the Berries, will let you ladies know when got it plus I suggest via post is the best option ( has sent so many seeds to the grapes in Uk and friends w/o problems)...
It is their 3rd winter now, they really stop growing and even loose some leaves... grow lamps don't make different really ( tried it before). By spring they will grow again ( happily)...

He is working for Orange, based in Rijen, but I think he will rent an apartment in Breda. I will tell him to read this thread and contact you by PM. Thanks Momol. Hope your curry tree grows some fruit this year.
It seems to like high winter temps - not below 65C. I
65C?!!?!? That's Chernobyl temperatures! Hottest I have stood in was in some God forsaken hole in the Emirates near Al Ain - 43C. Nearly melted. Atlanta cooked to 38C...
Let's go diggin' dirt....
Big silver bird, come land low and slow
Cut your engines, cool your wings,
You've taken me home...
Our friend Linda who passed away last year lived pretty much all her life (except when she lived with us) in a place called Enschede and she always joked that in that part of the country they were referred to as "farmers" - made me smile madmax, thanks.
Back on topic, I'm sure I have no idea what kind of seeds you lot are referring to which would cause "problems" at customs....
