  • In a bit of a pickle

    hello all of you. hope you are all being good and are well.

    my wife decided to pickle some onions and got all the stuff together to do it. my job was to sterilize the vessels ready for the introduction of the end product (which i accomplished with considerable panache).

    all going smooth and all done int it? well not so fast....

    i was separating out the recycling as you do and came across the vinegar bottle (the recipe was half a litre of PICKLING vinegar and a litre of MALT vinegar), the bottle I found was labelled DISTILLED vinegar.

    The pickles are in the jars and you can see the issue - what do we do (aside from getting eye tests)
    Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

    Sorry, sorry and sorry again.

    Somehow I managed to post this in completely the wrong place - perhaps a mod can move it?

    also, forgot to say the MALT vinegar part of the recipe was ok it was the PICKLING replaced with DISTILLED.
    Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.
