  • Tomato Seed Circle 2020

Please Join in the fun. Everyone welcome. If you have never saved seed before, don't worry, there's lots of us here to answer questions New grapes more than welcome.

Save 2 varieties of tomatoes (no F1's) with 6-8 seeds per pack. I'm happy to reduce to one variety if we can double our numbers??!!

No pressure, register your interest - and the tomatoes you fancy saving if you know what you are going to grow

#things don't often go to plan while store growing so you can change your mind on what varieties you are saving. Remember there's loads of seeds in a cherry Tom, so you only have to save one or two but you do have to label them!

Tips here for seed saving : https://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedsavinginfo.html
    # I will be adding a cut off point for sending in seeds. Tomato season is finished by the end of September and don't take long to dry. With this in mind all seeds need to be posted to me by the middle of November so that the swap is done and dusted before Christmas. Date to be confirmed.

Now that I've written down that list it looks a bit ambitious

          I like ambition!!

          Have you got yours already??

I would say, its not the growing that stops me from sending out lots of extras - its the bagging of seeds. It takes hours!

Please put me down. I'm sorting through all of my seeds (and the new ones) to see what is possible. I have a feeling I'm dismantling a greenhouse this year trying to reorganise the vegetable growing to make life simpler but I'm sure there'll be something.

Hi Mamzie. How odd that the link is broken. Perhaps a Mod will ask Admin what's happened?
