"My fair lady" Wallflower and White forget me nots seeds

Hi all

I have (still in its sachet, I bought 2 packets by mistake!!) "My fair lady" wallflower[/COLOR] seeds and also some of my white forget me nots seeds that are as fresh as they come. I have sown all I need and they have popped up like mustard and cress! I have grown the white forget me not for years and have ruthlessly weeded (aren't I mean!) out all the rogue blue ones over the years and they do seem to come up pretty much true. You might get a couple of palest pink or blue in there which are actually rather nice.
Actually I also have some Calendula "Kablouna Apricots & Oranges" seeds looking for a good home too. These are commercial seeds and I have more than I need.
Thats my spring display sorted with the tulip flowers hovering over head!

I am open to offers but particularly interesting in veggies and herbs.

i would love white forget me nots, but i have blue ones already, i'm guessing from your post, they will cross pollinate and return to blue?

In reply to forget me not question. Yes, the blue ones do seem to dominate in the gene pool which is why I yank out any odd blue ones. It does not help me though that my neighbour grows an impressive sea of the blue ones which makes it more difficult for me!
There are so many seeds though that this is easily overcome though. I have loads of forget me nots by spring and literally just take out any possible blue ones when in bud and put a spare white back in its place. They are very accomodating and easy plants in my experience.

Hello I am VERY interested!! I am most interested in Calendula "Kablouna Apricots & Oranges" I love these flowers and i used to have many in tubs before they were stolen Would you do me a huge favour and send some without a swap?? I still have some seeds of this cheery, bee pleasing, yummy smelling, beautiful and tough as old boots wallflower, that is also easy peasy to sow and grow. Lovely range of colours. That's why I grow it each year and have 4 different perennial forms growing in the borders too.
Well I am obviously sold on wallflowers!

Sushkin are those 'my fair lady' wall flowers perennial? I'm really interested in wallflowers as I need something thats tough and doesn't mind getting a bit neglected. I'll check my seed box but I'm sure I can offer you hollyhocks (icicle, peaches n dreams, apple blossom etc) or mirabilis or poppies. Apart from sweetpeas is there anything else you would like?

Well, officially they are really suppose to be borderline perennial. I do keep my favourite coloured ones in for about three years. They need well drained soil and a sunny aspect and then they will be happy and start to flower even earlier than the ones planted annually. Well, that's my experience anyway. Mine started flowering in the middle of march this year and only finished in early june!
If your still interested after my spiel then I would love to swap for some fab hollyhocks. The peachey ones sound lovely.
