    Hi Quark1,

Me would like some too. Have heritage seeds mostly - fancy some chocolate brown peppers, got a variety of weird veggies.

FF - I'm about to open what I have left and allow the seed inside to dry out.

This will also make posting a little cheaper as when I sent intact fruits they counted as a 'large' package as they wouldn't go through their measuring device.

I'll PM you when they're ready and we'll discuss a swap. Choc Brown peppers sound nice - but you say you have some weird stuff - I LOVE weird! Be in touch soon.

BTW - to send a PM of you look towards the top right of the screen - below the GYO banner - you'll see a 'welcome' notice to you and beneath it 'Private Messages' - use this to send to any of us you fancy having private exchanges with. We only swap personal details when there is a swap on or perhaps when some of the grapes organise a get together.

See you're quite a new member - welcome aboard!

Quark, thanks for reminding me. I harvested six potato fruits and didn't know how exactly to get the seeds out. Here's an explanation, using a food blender of all things: Untitled Document
They were on Rooster, (planted next to Pink Fir and Maris Peer) but I understand could become absolutely anything!

I've got several little packets now - from different fruits, some kindly sent by grapes (you know who you are!) and one lot I found in my own garden - on a volunteer of Highland Burgundy Red - I planted those 7 years ago! I always seem to leave a bit - can't see them against the soil somehow.

hi quark, if there are any blue potatoes left could i have one please, i had never heard of blue spuds before and i know that the rest of my family haven't , it would be great to try and raise some.

i'm afraid i don't have anything wierd to swap, just the normal broad beans peas carrotts red cabbage and other such staples, i only started gardening in july.

hope to hear back from you about this and also from anyone with advice about growing these spuds, do you just plant the whole seed tuber?
              Happy Gardening!
