Swap Squash for Cardoon!

Hiya,

I'd love to have a Cardoon as I think they look fab!

As I only started gardening this year I don't really have many seeds to swap BUT I do have some butternut squash plants instead.

I grew these from seeds that I got out of a supermarket squash so no idea what variety they are! I've hardened them off & they stand about 7 inches tall.

I'm in Scunthorpe, Nth Lincs if anybody would like to swap

I think I've got an unopened packet of cardoon seeds somewhere. Would be happy to post them to you.

Be warned, my next door allotment started growing it - they get to about 5ft high, and have lovely 3ins across purple wineglass-shape-thistle-style heads if you let them flower. They're big!!!

I'm overrun and have nowhere to plant anything else at the moment, so you can hang on to your squash ...
