  • Alpine Strawberries

I have an open seed packet (stored in the freezer as suggested in the instructions) of Alpine Strawberries up for grabs. I started them from seed this spring, and they've already fruited this year. They're small, but packed full of flavor.

Never heard of storing seeds in the freezer - think it would confuse OH when he was looking for a bag of peas!

I too sowed alpine straws this year and they've been fab, very slow to start but when they got going they went mad and have now been fruiting for almost 2 months and there are a fair few to go even now!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

best to store any type of seeds in the fridge keeps them fresh and they last longer.when you take them out of the fridge and put them in compost they warm up and think sping or summers here.
