  • Cerinthe major Purpurescens - on offer

I have seeds of this plant (also known as honeywort) which is a tremendous bee magnet. They can flower quite early in the year - I tend to throw some down in autumn for early spring flowering and the seed from that will also flower in the autumn. Great value plant.

Hi can I have some of these please I dont have anything to swop as I have just started gardening. I can send you a SAE if that would help. Do these plants come back every year or do you have to re-sow them? Many thanks Stella

          Hi Stella,
Just pm me your address and I'll send some out. Cerinthe is very obliging in that it sets seed well and all I do is just throw some back down on the soil and they germinate - I just have to remove any that end up in the wrong place - but they are easily removed whether a seedling or a plant. I usually put some down now for spring flowering and then let them seed for late summer/autumn flowering.
