Hi Folks,
I have just found out that castor oil seed (ricinus communis) can be very poisonous to children and animals!
If you have seed they need to be kept in a safe place away from small fingers and the plants shouldn't be planted anywhere where animals or children can get near them, especially the flowers/seed heads which are apparently very attractive to children!
My very sincere apologies, but I didn't know this when I sent them out, as there was no warning on the seed packet.
