Italians seeds for swap or good home

Boyfriend got me a job lot off ebay for Christmas and there are far too many duplicates, can't possibly use them all. A lot of them are sow by 2008 so presumably need using up this year, though a few are 2009 or 2010.

EDIT: All gone now.

I don't really know what I'd want in return as I have pretty much all the seeds for what I planned to grow in 2009, but feel free to make offers. The only things I can think of are more chilli, small pumpkin/squash, sweetcorn or cucumber varieties, or purple carrots.

Can also send with SAE, though I don't think more than one packet will fit per card sized standard envelopes so a bigger envelope (and maybe a couple of stamps) would be in order if anyone wants several.

I'd be open to flower seed too, as my I'm wanting to spruce up the front garden borders (even less space but all available for growing flowers). I should mention however that the one thing I don't need is poppy seed - I have so many varities of that now!

I once referred to Joan of Arc, also known as Jeanne La Pucelle, or Joan the Maiden, as Jeanne La Poubelle - or Joan the Dustbin.

Loved your story, TwoSheds. I think it must be like the French - the French word "con" is slang for idiot, although it does also mean lady parts. It is not a particularly bad word in French - worse than idiot, perhaps, but certainly nothing like so bad as the English word it sounds like...

So my French friend was most surprised, on her first week as a trainee on an English nursing ward, to be taken aside by the sister and told she could not laughingly refer to her colleagues as "dozy c...s"
