  • Little plastic self seal bags for the seed saver!

    Hi,
My OH works as an engineer and he fixes machinery in hospital labs. Everytime he services one all the little tubes and bits come in individual self seal plastic seethrough bags - he saves them for me and now I have loads!

Does anyone want any? great for the avid seed swapper or saver!

    PM me if interested

    xx

Ooh and if anyone has got any Pepper seeds would be happy to swap for those, or otherwise send an sae

I've often wondered where these are bought from...........they can't be very expensive surely? Not as cheap as free though I suppose! I don't need any, but thanks for the offer Tori!

Yes you can buy them and they are cheap and quite thin, these ones are really thick plastic, you can't rip them - and as you rightly said they are free! Much better!

These little bags are quite cheap on e-bay but then I'm not sure about the postage? I think some include the post price as all in one thing. Only trouble with them is you have to order in batches of about 100 or more. I can't remember for sure! It was a while ago when I was looking!

                        lol..

i knew that would grab your attention.... they are a part of the kidney family ( pulses) A.k.A cow bean. They grow black and white as well and when you cook them the black disappears leaving a white bean. I grew them 2 seasons ago in terracotta pots, they just look cool black and white beans

                          Hi Muslimgrower,
                          Those seeds are very attractive.

                          Are they edible or ornamental?

i think there are a few bean fanatics on here that grow those?

TS and Flum spring to mind for some reason, wonder why?
