    I've got a spare packet of these Sheds;
    Brussels Sprout : Maximus F1 Hybrid (Seeds)

    I haven't tried them though, so can't say if they're any good!

        Evesham all blew, and got really bad aphid and whitefly.
        Maximus were brilliant though: I picked my last ones yesterday.

          My Evesham all blew too, even though I thought I'd firmed them in really well.

            Out of 250 Evesham Special, I managed to harvest only 40 sticks - the rest blew.

                  No Shirl, but I've just eaten my last ones, and reminded myself I can't find last year's packets

                      Phew - thought it seemed a bit early for that sort of sowing!

                        Just had a knock at the door from chap who lives in the next street, same name & number as mine, but Avenue rather than Lane... (are you there yet...) Says, "So sorry, meant to bring this round ages ago, but kept forgetting, postie put it through our door by mistake"... and there was a lovely little package of beans from Two_Sheds
                        To be honest, I'd forgotten all about them, so was a lovely surprise

                        Thanks Sheds, looking forward to growing them.

                          Sorry for my ignorance but what does it mean if your brussel sprouts blew? Does it mean they didn't form?

                            they form,but are not tight compacted like little cabbages,instead the leaves are all open more like to a flower or an open lettuce.
