  • Special needs - Can anyone please help?

As some of you know I work in a special needs school, for a few years now I have been doing a small vegetable plot with my class. This year I am doing that and a gardening club with the children after school. A local building company has very very kindly donated all the timber and made me four wheel chair height beds and 2 raised beds for the able children to use on the ground. I have no funding to run this group as yet and so I am doing my best to set it all up. I am on here to very kindly ask if anyone could please spare anything at all to help with the gardening club. Donations of any kind would be HUGELY appreciated, seeds, string, compost, watering cans, spades, gloves - anything would be greatly appreciated. As I know you all know gardening in a very sensory experience so for my students with no or limited sight, hearing, taste, communication and tactile tolerance it is a fantastic thing to be doing.

Thank you all very very much.

Please feel free to PM me and I will give you the school address for any items to be posted to. We are in Maidstone. Thank you

I've had to remove several email addresses, or you will end up with all sorts of spam. Hopefully, you can all communicate through the PM system or post your email addresses on your profile pages, and contact each other using those - if you haven't already done so.
