  • Seeds to Swap

This is my 2nd year trying to grow some veggies. Have some spare seeds from last year that someone may want to try. Also looking to add a few new sorts for this year.

Those in red already asked for/swopped!

Chiltern Seeds 2008 – will split if more than one person interested

40 Cosse Violette – Purple Climbing French Bean – 1817B
    60 Sugar Snap Pea – 1371C
10 Sweet Corn F1 hybrid “Northern Xtra Sweet” – 1367A
10 Italian Plum Tomato ‘San Marzano’ – 1371G

More info on above, type in code at chilternseeds.co.uk

    Others to swap:-

Carrot ‘Early Scarlet Horn’ – short stump variety
    Beetroot ‘Boltardy’
Radish ‘Sparkler 3’ – spare full packet, unopened
Broccoli – Early Purple Sprouting for Mar/Apr 2010
Leek ‘Carentan 2’ – Organic, short shaft, straight, not bulbous
Spinach ‘Medania’ – crops summer and winter

    I'm looking for:

Cabbage – Savoy or January King type
    Cauliflower
Bean – broad beans, green fine beans or yellow beans
    Peas – mangetout or bush
Parsnip – ‘Tender and True’ or any other
    Lettuce – Butterhead
    Squash and/or Courgette
    Chard – Golden or Rainbow

SAE appreciated but not essential. If ok will send in a bit of clingfilm with label inside envelope as I'd like to keep packets for instructions to hep with this year's attempt.

PM address and what you would like to try. Thanks

          No prob!

If anyone's reading - I totally recommend the butterhead lettuce - mine's been outdoors all winter [sown in august] and it's still going strong, even after all the snow. One of the best lettuces for winter growing in my humble opinion.
