Sorry to stick my nose into this thread but I was wondering how you can gauge what strength they are, I had a tiny piece of raw chile not so long ago and it made my mouth numb for about 8 hours, however I have had them cooked since and found them to be palatable, I would like to grow them but do not know which seeds to buy, any help would be greatly received.

Google any of the chili growing web sites. They have a heat measurement for all chili peppers.
The Chiliman.org. is a good one.
