I join the rest in being really pleased to hear you've found a way through it.

We're in the same boat, nothing left in the budget and trying hard to grow veg to help out but we're doing it by reading up here for tips and learning to think outside the box.

Nobody can throw anything away now without me saying that'll be great as a lid for my seed tray or a pot for my tomatoes. What money I used to waste at the garden centre before I realised I didn't have it to spend!

All the best with the growing season.

Thanks again everyone! Today since about 8am I spent digging over the flower bed and nearly finishing the veggie patch.... at last! I hope something will grow now.
