  • A heartfelt thank you (Btw This is barely garden related for those sensitive types!)

I've been through a few crazy moments in the past month or two and just wanted to thank all you guys who have continued to put a smile on my face.

Sarzwix, Piglet Willie, Zazen, Mrs C, Andi&di, Herby, Herbie, McBee, Janeyo, Mattfurlong, Piskie, Hazel @ the hill, Beki, amanda and her veg, Fineon Dandy, beaufont boy, Linda66, muslimgrower to name only a few.

You guys have made me smile and kept my spirits up when I relocated to the East of England, through a bereavement, through my excitement of my new job and new allotment and through sending and swapping seeds with me!

I have appreciated all your friendship, support and kindness!! So I send you all a heartfelt thank you!

    (and to those I missed out!) x x x

        Ah bless Victoria!

Just like me you love this website and the people on it, some of them also helped me through a rough patch earlier this year!

I think most things have a way of working themselves out but a helping hand from a friend, or 2 or 3 or 4........................... can always help LOL

Hows the new job going?? I bet it is getting busy now with the growing season just getting going!

        Best of luck with everything!

Thanks Irie Jan - Just posted this thread so people realise that their kind words do make a difference to people! (Yourself included obviously ) Its going really well - I've been offered a full time position already - on my 3rd shift!! So I must be doing something right.
I'm actually really enjoying learning more about flowers, shrubs and trees instead of just my usual fruit, veg and edibles.
Everyones been really nice to me and apparently I've made quite a good impression so I'm really happy. Had my 1st day off today and went up my allotment. The field secretary has only went and rotavated my plot for me too so I'm well chuffed!!

              And why not?

Himself's on his hols this week so we've had a G&T already. The weather's been so naff we can't even see the yardarm!

Looking forward to a white wine with the home made fish cakes and the windowsill-grown purple teepee french beans. I wouldn't call the King me Uncle!
