Yeah Piskie, the post offices rules, rather than anything on here It's fine if you take the parcel into the PO, they weigh it and take your money, easy. But sat at home with a packet of first class stamps, and a packet of second class, trying to work out how many you need to stick on, and if you're sending a Large Letter, or a Packet, or a Parcel... Must have taken me half an hour to sort it out, and I don't think I'm dense..

ah ha - no worries then, I have the post office here in my office in the form of SmartStamp and accurate scales - no queing done by this bird
