  • P'kins, courgettes, cukes, toms in Aberdeenshire

I've been potting on today and no matter what way I look at it, there's not enough room to keep them.

I'm in Auchenblae, near Laurencekirk South of Stonehaven. Really don't need anything but would be delighted to swap for multi purpose compost. They are all well established, happy, healthy plants, I have.......

    Connecticut Field Pumpkin
    White Bush Squash
    Dark Green Courgette
    Large Red Cherry Toms
    Marketmore Cukes
    Moneymaker Toms
Hillbilly Toms (Heritage seeds I picked up in Tennessee)
Squash - Golden Nugget (BUSH VARIETY)
Squash - Sweet Dumpling (BUSH VARIETY)
    Squash - Marina Di Chioggia

    Hi Amanda,
you are seriously miles away from me, but i just wondered have you considered selling them if you can't give them away? I did a car boot sale last week and just took a few rhubarb/trays of cabbage plants that i grew from seed and didn't think they'd sell, but they all went - only charged 50p/plant
    Just a thought!

      Hey Lisa

Listed them this weekend on Freecycle but was going to put a wee table outside. I sometimes put out bits and pieces with an Honesty Box, will do it next weekend with whatever I have spare if it's not lashing down with rain.

A tad too far for me...but perhaps we can have a chat about hillbilly toms later in the year, and do some swapsies for 2010

No probs, I also took back some Bloody Butcher toms seeds too that you might be interested in.

            Hmmm....sounding very good indeed.

I think I'll try and organise a heritage seed sharing 'gang' for those who want to expand ranges next year.

I had some wonderful tom swaps this year, FrostyFreckle and Bramble got me hooked - thanks ladies. I would be up for joining 'The Heritage Tomato Gang'.

You can count me in as well for 'The Heritage Tomato Gang'.
