Hi swaine Looks an interesting list as always! I don't think I've got anything interesting or unusual to swap - just the usual catalogue varieties.
There is a yellow cherry tree in a field near here that I've tried to take a cutting from but it hasn't taken Might try doing it from the stone this year but I don't know how reliable that is?

ill give anything ago, think the best thing to do is take a young cutting and graft it onto an established tree which will be at a certain time of year, keep me informed on this one, as i have established cherry trees ready, reagrds stew

hi,dont grow them anymore, i used to grow cloudberries a few years ago( the only fruit that has dissapointed me) needs acid soil, never got it to fruit!!!!
could get it to flower thou, i believe the cloudberry is a truly wild fruit will stay that way, more i look into think male and female plants are needed, but this has been reputed by some and agreed by others, can be found northen england poss scotland quite high up,(mountains hills) i can get hold of some so if your desperate ill see what i can do for you, stew

Hi, I take it you like fruit then. I am afraid I do not have anything exciting as yet, First year on Lottie, growing raspberries as they were already there, planted loads of strawberries, 2 jostaberries & will be planting some blueberries later this year, but would be interested in blackcurrants & Boysenberry if you will have spares, as I am trying to grow different berries to "normal" lottie fruit.

Hi Swaine, I would love to try some marionberries - do they sucker like raspberries? I don't think I have anything to add to your list, although I do have a packet of huckleberry seeds if you want them. Happy to send you a SAE if you have spare canes?
