Hi all,
Am trying to give away or swap some of my seeds while they're still viable, as I've got limited planting space. Not too bothered about swaps as I'm trying to reduce the number of seeds I have slowly going off, but am looking for a small number of things, listed below, that I'd make an exception for.
Leafy stuff:
Wild Rocket (opened, bb 2010)
Broccoli: Summer Purple Sprouting Wok Brocc (opened, pkd 09)
Mixed leaf amaranth (again Real Seeds, 08) - Going!
Belleville Sorrel (Real Seeds, 08)
Parsley: Moss Curled 2 (bb 2010)
Flowers:
Nasturtium: Tom Thumb mixed (opened,bb 2010) -- gone
Marigold: French, Dwarf Double Mixed (bb 2012)
Marigold: French, Sparky (self saved this year)
Forget-me-not: Blue intensive (bb 2011)
Other:
Turnip: Primera F1 Hybrid (pkd 09) -- gone
Beetroot: Boltardy (unopened, bb 2010)
Aubergine: Calliope F1 hybrid (opened, pkd 08) - STILL 5 left!
Tomato: Aurora (Real Seeds, 09) -- gone
Chillies: small amount of Pretty In Purple (from Real Seeds, 09) -- gone
Courgette: Black Forest F1 Hybrid (4 seeds left, best before 09 though)
Would love to try:
Carrot - Cosmic Purple
Lettuce - Fringe headed drunken lady (saw the name on Pennard Plants site, but they're out of stock
I just like the name really, what a fabulous name. )
Peas - Half Pint (love the thought of having a 6" pot of peas on my desk, but only place I've seen them is Plants of Distinction and I can't justify the delivery charge for just one packet. Ok, I know that's an excuse to buy LOTS, but NOOO, must be strong!)
Any mini toms (teeny tiny bush toms for windowsills): I've got some Tiny Tim tomatoes, and am planning to grow a few next year for possible use in charity plant sale or just to give away to people as cute small plants, but wouldn't mind some more to try out if you've a couple of seeds going spare.
Mini lettuce - got some Little Gem, thanks!
